About the Role:

A well-established California law firm is seeking a highly organized and experienced Employment Law Paralegal to join our team remotely. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in employment law who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative virtual environment. The role involves supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation, from intake to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings
• Organize and maintain case files and calendars
• Draft and respond to discovery requests
• File documents with state and federal courts (e-filing experience required)

Requirements:

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of employment law experience (California-specific preferred)
• Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, FEHA, ADA, FMLA, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software
• Experience with e-filing in California state and federal courts
