• 3+ years paralegal experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Paralegal certificate or relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication with interpersonal skills and judgement.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Request and follow up on medical records, bills, and other supporting documentation.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer questions throughout their case.
• Prepare demand packages.
• Coordinate scheduling for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy.
• Track deadlines, including statutes of limitations and court filing dates.
• Liaise with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel as needed.
• Support attorneys during trial preparation and proceedings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• Have 3+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury or civil litigation, or similar
• Hold a Paralegal Certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, or have equivalent practical experience

How You'll Make a Difference

Reporting to the Senior Litigation Attorney, you'll support attorneys throughout the life of a personal injury case, handling case preparation, documentation, and client communication to keep files moving efficiently toward resolution. You'll play a key part in ensuring cases are well-organized and ready for litigation, mediation, or trial.
