Job summary

Groton Public Schools is seeking paraeducators to support students at Mystic River Magnet Elementary School. The position offers an hourly rate of $17.94, in accordance with the CBA for the Groton Paraeducators Chapter CSEA/SEIU Local 2001, with a start date of August 31, 2026.

Qualified candidates will have 60 college credits, an associate degree or higher, and must pass the ParaPro/ParaPathways assessment within 90 days of the start date.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Pass the ParaPro/ParaPathways assessment within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Implement lessons written by the Special Education Teachers.
• Work cooperatively with Administration, regular teachers, staff, and parents.
• Flexible, dependable, and responsive to new ideas and direction.
