The Paraeducator works to provide the necessary instructional and non-instructional assistance and supervision, under the direction of the professional staff, for the effective and efficient operation of the school.
Works under the supervision of certified school personnel and under the general supervision of the principal. The performance of these functions may require the exercise of independent judgment of the Paraeducator in a range of instructional, supervision and other assigned duties.
Must have acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS Fingerprint Background Checks prior to start of employment.
All benefits and privileges are consistent with the Northampton Association of School Employees (NASE) Paraeducator Unit C Collective Bargaining Agreement Contract.
