Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a part-time paraeducator for elementary duties. The role focuses on supervising student areas, supporting copying tasks, and assisting with non-instructional duties. Candidates must be in-building and ready to start after the posting period.

Positions offer an hourly rate with DOQ based on K-12 experience, with benefits available for assignments of 6+ hours per day. This role does not include instructional support.

Qualifications

Paraeducator Elementary Part-Time 184 days/4 hrs/day

This position can be filled after a 5-day posting period.

Part-time elementary paraeducators at highly qualified buildings may perform duties in the following areas: lunchroom supervision, playground supervision, and copy room, and does not include student instructional support.

Duties

• Supervise areas where students gather such as hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, bus areas, and lunchroom.
• Support teachers/administration with copy room duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned (not including student instructional support).

Minimum Qualifications

• $20.00/hour to $23.00/hour DOQ with K-12 experience
• $21.15/hour to $24.15/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K-12 experience
• $22.00/hour to $25.00/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K-12 experience
