Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Paraeducator Elementary in Minnesota for a part-time role (184 days/3 hrs per day). You will supervise student areas, assist with copy-room duties, and support staff—excluding direct instructional support. Start date is 8/31/26, with benefits for 6+ hour assignments.

Duties

Supervise areas where students gather such as hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, bus areas, and lunchroom. Support teachers/administration with copy room duties. Perform other duties as assigned (not including student instructional support).

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically working in the building.

• Ability to work cooperatively with students and staff.
• Ability to supervise students.
• Ability to take direction.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

Rate of Pay

• $20.00/hour to $23.00/hour DOQ with K-12 experience
• $21.15/hour to $24.15/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K-12 experience
• $22.00/hour to $25.00/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K-12 experience
