Kelso School District is seeking a Paraeducator Assistant to support the special education teacher, assist with IEPs and progress reports, and help provide services for students with disabilities.
Duties include supervising students in the cafeteria and on school grounds, assisting with daily activities, and helping enforce classroom rules in a safe, respectful learning environment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and training in CPR/First Aid and CPI (or willingness to obtain).
Position Details: 6.5 hrs/day, 8:30am to 3:30pm; 188 days/year.
Potential reduction hours due to Wednesday early release, early dismissals for parent conferences, holidays, and last day of school; reduction hours subject to change. Job assignment and/or building assignment are subject to change based on program needs determined by the district.
Pay Range: PSE 1 Salary Schedule
