Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides for the physical, health and safety needs of students.
• Supports students with disabilities in social, emotional, behavioral, and educational aspects.
• Implements components of IEPs as required.
• Provides direct academic, functional and specially designed instruction.
• Advocates for students in least restrictive environment.
• Assists students with behavioral challenges and ensures safety.
• Encourages student independence.
• Collects data as directed by case manager/teacher.
• Responds to student medical needs within scope.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
