Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• College coursework should include a minimum of nine credit-hours related to education such as behavior management and instructional strategies.
• One year of experience working with students in structured educational settings preferred.
• If no related education coursework, two to four years of experience in structured settings may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support diploma-bound students with grade-level or above curriculum.
• Provide instructional and classroom management support.
• Perform related clerical tasks to assist teachers and other staff.
• Assist with ongoing instructional activities during teacher absences.
• Remain flexible to scheduling and location changes.
