- Work Schedule: 7 hours per day which includes a 30-minute, duty-free, paid lunch
- Hourly rate:
- Level 1: $13.34 (minimum qualifications / willing to obtain certificate of competency)
- Level 2: $15.00 (proficient in sign language or braille)
- Level 3: $16.00 (certified licensed professional)
- This position is benefits eligible for single-level coverage after 90-days and offers 12 days of paid leave + 5 paid holidays per year

Position Summary
Assists the classroom teacher in a variety of settings by performing assigned duties related to the learning process such as assembling and preparing instructional materials and monitoring students. May assist with translation and/or communication using second language skills when possible. Tasks include but are not limited to, performing instructional activities planned by the teacher, giving the teacher feedback on student’s progress and assisting in clerical duties, as assigned. Under direction/supervision of the teacher / Principal, and general supervision of the Director of Special Education and Student Services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Paraprofessional certificate, OR
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university, OR
- Such alternative to the above qualifications as deemed appropriate.
