Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build rapport with culturally diverse students.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality in all schedules.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and student populations.
• Experience with at-risk students is a plus.
• Willingness to be trained in MTSS and PBIS.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers in MTSS to support student success.
• Teach, model, and support PBIS across building situations.
• Work with students in skills room and across settings.
• Input data into student data systems and manipulate spreadsheets.
• Establish a positive and structured learning environment with teachers.
• Assist teachers with instruction and monitoring student progress.
• Maintain patience and positive interpersonal skills with students.
• Monitor hallways during class and passing times, reporting issues to staff.
• Communicate daily with instructional staff regarding instruction and student issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by building administrator.
