Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with preparing classroom materials and activities
• Support classroom management and student engagement
• Work with students individually and in small groups under the teacher's direction
• Help carry out educational activities and learning goals
• Maintain classroom records and documentation as assigned
• Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions and activities
• Help create a positive, safe and welcoming learning environment
• Participate in training opportunities, meetings and professional development
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies and procedures
