Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking a Paraeducator Assistant I at Risley Elementary School to support classroom instruction for 17 hours per week. Under supervision, you will assist teachers with individual and small-group activities and help maintain instructional materials.

Qualified candidates will meet the highly qualified requirements for Title I schools, including a high school diploma or equivalent, and options such as 48 college hours or ParaPro/ParaPathways.

Qualifications

• Assists teaching staff in a variety of classrooms and related areas.
• Develops lesson outlines and plans in assigned areas.
• Prepares teaching aids and instructional materials.
• Supports students individually or in small groups with assignments.
