Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking a Paraeducator Aide II at Booth ES. The role supports teachers, supervises students, and handles clerical tasks in a school setting.

Candidates must be Highly Qualified with a high school diploma or equivalent and may fulfill additional requirements such as 48 college hours or an associate degree, or ParaPro score 460. Responsibilities include classroom assistance, supervision on field trips, record-keeping, and operating standard office and AV equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 48 college hours or an associate degree or higher preferred.
• ParaPro score of 460 orParaPro credential acceptable as Highly Qualified.
• Experience with school-age youth desirable; knowledge of classroom procedures helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff in classroom and school activities; supervise students on field trips.
• Type tests, prepare reports, and manage routine records and materials.
• Maintain attendance records and classroom bulletin boards; manage supplies.
• Supervise lunchrooms, playgrounds, and bus loading/unloading; enforce rules.
