Job summary

Cheshire Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator to support students during instruction and throughout the day at Barnum Elementary School. The role includes supervising lunch and recess, and accompanying students to specials such as art and music.

Experience with young children and developmentally appropriate practices are desirable, with duties under the classroom teacher's supervision. The position is 16 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday, with pay in accordance with the Cheshire

Salary: In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. $18.63 per hour.
