Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals seeks a compassionate Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide to support students in Washtenaw County, MI. You will work with teachers and specialists to provide 1:1 and small-group academic and behavioral support.

The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and able to collaborate within a multidisciplinary school team, following individualized student plans and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
• School-based and/or special education experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting students with behavioral or developmental needs preferred.
• Ability to follow individualized student plans and established classroom strategies.
• Strong communication, teamwork, patience, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and/or small-group support to students.
• Assist students with academic assignments and classroom activities.
• Support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and functional needs.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and implement established behavior strategies.
• Assist students with transitions, routines, and participation throughout the school day.

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dependable Paraprofessional / Instructional Aide to join our team and support students in a school setting in Washtenaw County, MI.

This is a great opportunity for a Paraprofessional who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.

What You'll Do

As a Paraprofessional, you will work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other members of the educational team to provide individualized support to students. Responsibilities may include:
