Job summary

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate Paraprofessional / Instructional Aide to join our team and support students in a school setting in Boulder County, CO. This role involves direct student support, collaboration with educators, and helping students develop academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional skills.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with children or adolescents, and a willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary school team.

Qualifications

• School-based and/or special education experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow individualized student plans and established classroom strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and/or small-group support to students.

This is a great opportunity for a Paraprofessional who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.

What You'll Do

As a Paraprofessional, you will work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and other members of the educational team to provide individualized support to students. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing direct 1:1 and/or small-group support to students
• Assisting students with academic assignments and classroom activities
• Supporting students with behavioral, social-emotional, and functional needs
• Reinforcing positive behaviors and implementing established behavior strategies
• Assisting students with transitions, routines, and participation throughout the school day
• Supporting students in developing greater independence and self-advocacy skills
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and other school professionals

• Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
