TSP Ed Co in Washtenaw County, MI is seeking a compassionate School Psychologist to support students in school settings, collaborating with educators and families to develop academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional skills.

You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, participate in IEPs, provide counseling, and work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and recommend strategies.

Qualifikationen

• Active School Psychologist credential/license for MI
• Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
• School-based and/or special education experience is a plus
• Knowledge of psychoeducational assessment and special education processes
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
• Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements

What You'll Do

As a School Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with special education staff and other members of the educational team to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Providing individual and/or small-group counseling and social-emotional support
• Supporting students with behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Developing recommendations and strategies to support student success
• Monitoring and documenting student progress and providing appropriate reports
• Consulting with school staff regarding behavioral interventions and student needs
