Job summary

TRAX International Corporation in Yuma Proving Ground, AZ seeks a Parachute Rigger III / Test Parachutist III to unpack, inspect, assemble, and pack cargo and personnel parachutes, following technical manuals for each task.

You will perform routine inspections, rigging, and testing, and assist in flight operations while maintaining safety and compliance with SOPs. High physical demands include lifting 100 lbs and extreme heat.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Army certified parachute rigger with Ft. Lee, VA certification.
• Military static line jump qualified.
• Must qualify at Test Parachutist III level with two certifications (e.g., Military Freefall Course; AFFI/Tandem; DZSO).

Responsibilities

• Unpack, examine, assemble and pack cargo, extractions and personnel parachutes.
• Follow manuals and instructions for packing, inspection and testing of airdrop equipment.
• Perform rigging, handling and transporting of hazardous materials and explosives.
• Maintain physical readiness and security clearances as required.
• Work as part of flight crew to assist in dispatching test items in flight.
