Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks a FAA-certified Parachute Rigger for the Yuma Proving Ground, AZ. The role requires an active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship to support the Military Free Fall School with parachute packing for continuous jump operations.

Responsibilities include packing and repacking parachutes, maintaining the official log (DA Form 3912) after each pack, and performing repairs per FAA rules and OEM SOPs under supervision where required.

Qualifications

• FAA Senior-rated Parachute Rigger certification is required.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Pack Performance Designs main parachutes into approved free-fall container systems per OEM recommendations and SOPs.
• Repack an instructor's alternate parachute during active jump cycles to minimize downtime.
• Pack a standard parachute within five minutes and support surge packing of multiple systems as needed.
• Complete and maintain the Army Parachute Log Record after each pack.
• Perform canopy repairs and repairs under supervision per 14 CFR Part 65; major repairs only under supervision.
