Job summary

V2X is hiring for a Parachute Rigger role in Ridgecrest, CA. The position involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing parachutes and survival gear, packing/parachuting operations, and ensuring life-support equipment meets DoD standards.

Candidates must have at least three years of O/I-level experience, be a qualified Parachute Rigger (A School or equivalent), hold a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance; US Navy procedures apply.

Qualifications

• Three years of practical experience at the O or I-level (within last five years).
• Qualified Parachute Rigger (PR) “A” School or equivalent MOS course for ALSS maintenance.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair parachutes, seat pans, survival equipment and flight protective gear.
• Pack and rig parachutes, pack and equip life rafts; operate sewing machines and related equipment.
