Job summary

Trax International is hiring a Parachute Rigger to unpack, inspect, assemble, and pack parachutes and related equipment. You will perform rigorous rigging, testing, and repair work, handling hazardous materials with strict adherence to manuals and standards.

The role requires Army parachute rigger certification, four years of rigger experience, and static line jump qualifications. In certain cases, HALO and DZSO qualifications may apply, with potential duties on the flight crew and safety roles.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of experience as a military rigger; Army certified parachute rigger.
• Military static line jump qualified.
• Must qualify at Test Parachutist III level with two certifications: (Graduate of USASOC Military Freefall, AFFI/Tandem, or Static Line Jumpmaster/DZSO).
• Must maintain jump status per FM-220.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks, inspects, and packs parachutes and related gear.
• Performs rigging, handling, and transporting hazardous materials and explosives.
• Reads technical manuals and uses tools for fabrication, modification, and repair of parachutes.
• Operates as part of flight crew for item dispatch and may serve as Drop Zone Safety Officer when qualified.
