Job summary

Stanislaus County Office of Education seeks a Para Educator for the JFK Special Education program in Modesto. The role supports a certificated teacher by delivering instruction to students with severe behavioral challenges and by monitoring progress.

The position is part-time, 6 hours per day, 184 days over 10 months, with an hourly pay range and eligibility to step-based pay within the district schedule. Applicants must meet ESSA criteria and complete the EdJoin process.

PROGRAM INFO

Focus on development of independent life skills, self help, functional academics, communication, and positive social interactions for students between 5 and 22 years of age with severe to extreme behavioral disabilities.
