Job summary

The Stanislaus County Office of Education is seeking a Full Year Support Associate Teacher to assist in a comprehensive child development program for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at the Oakdale site.

Under supervision, you will aid classroom staff in planning and implementing activities to ensure a safe, nurturing environment aligned with program goals. Applicants should have a High School Diploma, one year of early childhood experience, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; one year in early childhood preferred.
• California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher required; Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification.
• Transcripts with infant/toddler units; copies should include permit details and expiration dates.

Enrollment in Associates or Bachelor’s degree program in child development or related field preferred. THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit. Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification - in person training required. Three (3) units infant/toddler care and development required. Transcripts with infant/toddler units. (SPECIAL NOTE: Copies of Permits should include the name of the permit, permit details, authorizations, and expiration date. You may obtain a copy from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website at www.ctc.ca.gov.) RECOMMENDED DOCUMENTS: The following documents are recommended at the time of application:
