Job summary

The Wenatchee School District is seeking a part-time instructional assistant for Orchard Middle School. The role involves supporting students in one-on-one, small group, or classroom settings, preparing materials, and helping with curriculum administration as directed.

Under supervision, you will also supervise before/after school, cafeteria and recess activities. Qualifications include an AA degree or equivalent, PRAXIS testing, and strong communication skills; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent or passed PRAXIS test required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Experience teaching social skills to students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist under the direction of the building administrator and classroom teacher.
• Prepare instructional materials for student use and administer curriculum as directed.
• Provide supervision before/after school, cafeteria and recess as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
