Lake Washington School District in Redmond is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to assist teachers with individual and small group instruction for students with various needs.
Position runs on a 180-day calendar, with a daily shift from 9:20 am to 1:25 pm at Einstein Elementary. Hourly rate ranges from $29.75 to $32.34, with union eligibility under Teamsters Local 763.

Location: Einstein Elementary (located within the Redmond Learning Community)
Hourly Rate: Step 1: $29.75/hour - Step 2: $32.34/hour based on experience ( SC7 Salary Schedule 2025-2026) Position is eligible for membership in the Teamsters Local Union No. 763 which is part of the Lake Washington School District Trades Bargaining Council No. 763 (TBC).
Assists teachers with individualized and small group instruction for students of all educational levels who have physical or behavioral needs or are medically fragile. Supports students' special health care needs and develops daily living and behavioral skills. Assists staff with classroom preparation and retrieval, use and storage of equipment and supplies. May supervise and assist students in library, classrooms, resource rooms, self-contained classroom, playgrounds, or getting on and off a bus.
Must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Hold an Associate degree (AA) or higher OR
Completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours, OR
Passed an Educational Testing Service ParaPro Assessment documenting a score of 455 or higher, OR have passed the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher.
