Job summary

Baptist Health in Richmond, KY is seeking a Par Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain Services team. The role focuses on demand planning in PAR management systems, stock replenishment, product deployment, and expediting processes to minimize costs while ensuring service levels for clinical departments.

Responsibilities include PAR counts, restocking with proper rotation, disposition of expiring and slow-moving items, and coordinating with Materials leadership.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in healthcare materials environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily stock put away in PAR stocking locations, identifying and reconciling shipping discrepancies with supervisor or lead.
• Restock PAR location, utilizing proper rotation, organization, identification, documentation, and proper location of stock items.
• Manage expiring/expired product; collaborate with Materials leadership on disposition per legal requirements.
• Manage slow-moving product; collaborate with Materials leadership on disposition to mitigate financial impact.
• Process PAR counts for replenishment via handheld technology, based on pre-determined MIN/MAX parameters.
• Execute PAR procurement restocking order, ensuring accuracy of reorder to debit the associated clinical department.
• Electronically transact debits and credits within ERP system for products issued and returned to perpetual inventory.
