Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose in Massachusetts seeks a Quality Specialist to support QA/QC and drive process improvement using Six Sigma and Lean methods. You will plan, develop, and implement solutions to enhance product quality, reduce variation, waste, and costs while improving reliability and safety.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, performing audits, maintaining document control, and supporting PPAP and new product development initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with 3–7 years of experience.
• Certified Black Belt or willing to certify within 3 years in role.
• Strong papermaking and technical background.
• Sound mathematical and technical skills.
• Strong leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Support studies and optimization of unit operations within papermaking.
• Lead root cause analysis and 8D actions with cross-functional teams.
• Manage Material Review Board for nonconforming materials.
• Develop PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs to improve quality and cost.
• Conduct internal and participate in external audits.
• Support PPAP processes and new product development.
