Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to support the loan process by gathering, organizing and reviewing documents for a Mortgage Loan Application to be considered for underwriting approval and assisting in preparing approved loan requests for closing.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, timely processing, and accurate data entry. You will work with the MLO, coordinate required reports, verify income and assets, review disclosures and facilitate the closing

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months of related experience.
• Experience with Encompass loan processing software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage loan processing software.

Responsibilities

• Accept the loan application and related file in Encompass from MLO.
• Prepare a complete, paperless loan file in Encompass for Underwriting.
• Collect required documents and reports to process a mortgage loan request.
• Order reports (appraisal, flood certification, title search) and verify disclosures.
• Coordinate closing and notify customers of underwriting decisions.
