Job summary

Kronospan is hiring a Paper Treater Operator to safely and efficiently run the paper treating line, perform routine maintenance, and manage related software. You will identify issues that impact quality or downtime and work with maintenance to resolve them. Prior manufacturing experience and strong attention to detail are valued.

The role requires good communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with a rotating shift schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the paper treating line safely and efficiently.

• Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Job Description

The Paper Treater Operator's position is to perform all assigned tasks, including but not limited to, the safe, efficient operations of the paper treating and associated equipment. Additionally, the operator will be required to perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the assigned area of responsibility. The operator will be required to understand and manipulate computer software related to the operation of the paper treating line and associated equipment. The operator will also be required to identify conditions which may lead to off-quality or equipment downtime and initiate the proper corrective action. Further duties may include assisting maintenance personnel, when requested, in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment.
