Job summary

Sofidel America of Oklahoma is seeking a Paper Mill Shift Supervisor to oversee daily mill operations, staff assignments, and safety compliance. This role emphasizes efficient production, staff development, and collaboration with HR on workforce matters.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in a paper mill, be forklift certified, and proficient with Microsoft Office. This full-time position offers growth in a global group and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree and three (3) years of experience in a paper mill is preferred, or a high school diploma or similar and five (5) years of paper mill experience is required.
• At least three (3) years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must have a forklift certification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations of the paper mill, including set up and staff assignment, and organize the mill area for safe and efficient operations.
• Identify staffing needs, assign tasks, monitor performance, and train employees to maintain mill operations.
• Coordinate with HR on employee discipline, safety, and productivity, and participate in safety meetings and process improvement committees.
• Identify and resolve equipment or process issues, and assist with repairs or parts as needed.
