Job summary

Greif, Inc. is seeking a Plant Project Engineer for our paper mill in Georgia. You will lead the capital budget and apply lean manufacturing and project management to define scope, tasks, resources, budgets and schedules while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years of project management experience. You will mentor junior engineers, manage equipment design and third-party engineering partners, and report to senior management with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical).
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, budgeting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent capital projects.
• Provide technical guidance on projects and manage design to servicing.
• Develop and track scope, tasks, resources, budgets and schedules.
• Prepare project status reports for senior management.
• Ensure safety, regulatory and policy requirements are met.
• Develop relationships with equipment suppliers and third-party engineers.
• Direct third-party engineering resources for facilities and tooling.
• Stay current on engineering trends and promote safety practices.
