Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead capital investments across Pulp, Power & Recovery (PPR) operations, guiding projects from concept through commissioning in a safety‑driven manufacturing environment.

Based in the Southeast or open to relocation, you will oversee multi‑million dollar capital programs, manage cross‑functional teams, and ensure alignment with business goals, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience managing projects over $15 million.
• Ability to travel at least 80% to support project development, execution, outages, startups, and mill engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple capital projects ($15MM-$150MM+) across full lifecycle (P0-P6).
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, maintenance, operations, finance, safety, and construction.
• Oversee detailed design, contractor coordination, outage execution, and startup (P4-P6).
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
