Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Manufacturing Helper in Pittsfield, MA to support paper manufacturing operations, including moving rolls, threading machines, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. You will operate under supervision of machine tenders and hand off to the Rewinder/Calender teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Trade school or high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds with pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Transport and stage rolls, thread machines, and provide general housekeeping.
• Move rolls between Machine, Calender, and Rewinder areas; assist Rewinder crew.
• Monitor and stock operating supplies as needed or directed.
• Perform self and job task safety procedures and support other operators.
