Job summary

Charter Next Generation, Inc. in Turners Falls, MA is seeking a Material Handler for a temporary assignment. This full-time role supports our indirect labor operations on a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts, designed to balance production needs with worker flexibility.

You will transfer finished rolls from the extrusion line, package and label per specifications, remove scrap, stock work areas, and collaborate with supervisors and teammates to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Able to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Transferring finished rolls from an extrusion line.
• Packaging and labeling rolls per customer specifications.
• Scrap removal.
• Stocking production and packaging areas with materials.
• Maintain good interaction with supervisor and co-workers.
