• Ability to work rotating shifts (Southern Swing)
• Ability to read reports and gauges
• Pass company required written test including Rules & Gauges, Numerical Ability, Reading, and Bennett Mechanical aptitude testing

Responsibilities

• Cut paper cores to proper length as per order and plug appropriate ends
• Load winder cores
• Remove cores from storage area
• Assist in startup of winder under instruction of winder machine operator
• Empty garbage cans and remove wastepaper for proper disposal
• Assist in cleanup of basement during down time
• Empty the vacuum deposit system
