Are you a detail-oriented student with a strong background inmathematics and/or statistics, and the ability to workindependently on assigned tasks? The Mathematics and Statisticsdepartment is seeking qualified student paper graders for the fallsemester 2027.
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technicaltasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the studentassistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other studentsor provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
This position requires sufficient knowledge in Math 321, Math 344& Math 555. Paper graders assist with grading of student coursematerials. Grading procedures and deadlines are at the discretionof, and supplied by the instructor. Responsibilities includecollection of assignments, grading according to guidelines setforth by the instructor, and return of assignments by establisheddeadlines. Applicants should possess a strong background inmathematics and/or statistics, and are expected to exhibitsufficient knowledge required to perform at the course levels for which they are applying. Attention to detail and ability to workindependently are a must.
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6credit hours at Wichita State University.
