Ranpak is seeking a Paper Converter II in Kansas City, MO to operate fanfold and rewind machines, loading paper rolls and ensuring proper cuts and wind. You will monitor flow, adjust settings, and guide bundles to off-load conveyors according to the skid diagram.

Responsibilities include applying splice tape, inspecting finished product, verifying against schedule, and performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of experience running industrial machinery.
• Ability to adjust machines when out of tolerance.
• Ability to learn and run multiple machines with efficiency.
• Basic machine knowledge.
• Lift truck experience helpful.
• Ability to move or lift 45 to 135 pounds.
• Stand for 8 hours and maintain organization.
• Basic math skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operates a fanfold machine or rewinding machine to ensure correct length and width.
• Loads rolls of paper on machine back stands and threads paper to form smaller rolls.
• Monitors material flow to detect out-of-spec conditions.
• Guides bundles into off-load conveyor after processing.
• Adjusts air pressures, tension, web control, speed, and alignment.
• Removes product from conveyor and places on pallet per diagram.
• Applies splice tape to bundles and rolls as needed.
• Checks finished product against specs and reworks as required.
• Verifies product is correct to schedule and sets up accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
