VIPA is seeking a Paper & Board Trader for the USA, a 100% remote role based in the US. You will trade paper and board products, develop new market opportunities, and manage client relationships to generate revenue.

Ideal candidates have paper industry experience (tissue and packaging), strong B2B sales and negotiation skills, and are willing to travel within the US for key meetings. VIPA offers a dynamic multinational environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

As our business is growing, we want to expand our team and wish to employ an experienced commercial executive for our Paper & Board Division, familiar with the Paper Industry. The role is located in the US. This is a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities

• Trading of paper and board products
• Research and identify new market opportunities in the local market
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish communication and set up meetings
• Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients
• Negotiating with clients and suppliers to secure the most attractive prices
• Managing customer relationships
• Following up on the import/export operations
• Analyse sales, marketing, finance, and other reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximize growth

The ideal candidate

• Experience in the Paper and Pulp industry (Preferably in the Tissue and Packaging sectors)
• Ability to develop relationships with current and potential clients
• Strong communication, B2B sales and presentation skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
• Availability to travel within the country for meetings with current and potential clients
