Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a warehouse/production operator for second shift in Plainfield, NJ. You will load pallets, aerate loads, and ensure timely feeding into presses, while keeping areas clean and organized.

Assistance on presses, sheeters, and supply rooms is expected. Required: forklift experience; clamp truck experience preferred; willingness to work overtime; ability to perform essential functions with/without accommodations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience operating a clamp truck is preferred.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Put pallets of paper through the aerator and move completed pallets to the presses.
• Load pallets from vendors or previous processes and prepare loads for presses.
• Keep floor neat and organized; assist on press and on sheeter when needed.
• Keep supply room organized and chemicals in order.
• Support external services as needed.
