Job summary

7 Acre BarNGrill in Milton, GA is hiring for a Line Cook (Cocinero) to join a fast-paced kitchen team. The role focuses on meat and fish fabrication, general prep, station setup and cooking in a clean, sanitary environment, with an emphasis on pantry work initially.

Responsibilities include executing prep assignments, maintaining sanitation, adhering to portion sizes and recipes, and fulfilling kitchen standards. Weekend availability is required; compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Standing for 8 hours or more is required.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds regularly.
• 1–5 years of experience cooking multiple stations in a professional kitchen is preferred.
• Clear, effective communication with Kitchen Team Members and Kitchen Managers is essential.
• Obtain food safety certification if not already completed.

Responsibilities

• Execute all prep assignments quickly, efficiently, safely and according to the company's standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, walls, storage areas, cooking, and refrigeration equipment, adhering to proper sanitation standards.
• Understand and consistently comply with our standards regarding portion size, cooking methods, and kitchen rules at all times.
• Prepare dishes on our menu according to restaurant recipes.
