Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester's Tioga Pantry is hiring a part-time staffer to greet and assist customers, stock and organize pantry items, and support food distributions. The role emphasizes compassionate service and daily operational tasks in a community setting.

Requires a High School Diploma, a valid NY driver's license, and preferred experience in food service or pantry environments. Work includes helping with deliveries and maintaining a clean, orderly pantry space.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid NY State Driver License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Experience in a food industry is preferred, relevant years will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greets consumers in a warm and friendly manner.
• Helps consumers transport food to their car if needed.
• Assist in organizing and stocking pantry areas and delegating tasks.
• Perform weekly inventory and assist in ordering food.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, shelves, appliances, and equipment.
• Record daily temperature logs and monitor for safety.
