Canteen, a brand of Compass Group USA, is hiring for a full-time Pantry Coordinator at our Corporate Essentials location in New York. The role focuses on food/beverage distribution from the pantry, maintaining inventory, understanding menus, processing sales via an electronic tablet, and adhering to safety standards.

Prior customer service experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with variable hours.

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for food/beverage distribution from the pantry, pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
• Maintains and performs product inventory.
• Understands menu offerings.
• Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
