Job summary

Troon's Champion Hills Club in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Pantry Cook to join a fast-paced, team‑oriented kitchen. You will prepare cold dishes, salads, and pantry items with an emphasis on freshness and sanitation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months pantry/kitchen experience, solid food-safety knowledge, and the ability to read, speak and understand English. A collaborative attitude and commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months pantry/kitchen experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of cold dishes including salads, appetizers, sandwich fillings, and other pantry items in line with production plans or forecasted needs
• Work efficiently with whole food products, minimizing waste wherever possible
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in all prep and storage areas
• Communicate effectively with the Chef or Supervisor about equipment issues, shortages, or overages
• Receive, store, wrap, date, and rotate food products according to safety and freshness standards
• Requisition supplies and manage daily pantry inventory as needed
• Follow all safe food handling and work practices
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
