Job summary

WildBlue Amenity in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a driven Part-Time Seasonal Pantry Cook to join Troon’s hospitality-focused property organization. The role involves preparing pantry items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper storage while adhering to safety standards and production plans.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 months of related experience, be able to read and speak English, and demonstrate regular attendance and sanitation training.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares pantry items such as salads, appetizers, sandwich fillings and other cold dishes as per production plan.
  • Wraps, dates, and rotates food items.
  • Utilizes whole food products to minimize waste.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas.
  • Alerts supervisor of equipment issues, overages, or shortages promptly.
  • Requisitions inventory and receives supplies for daily production.
  • Ensures proper storage of food items.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Performs other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Key responsibilities of the Pantry Cook:
  • Prepares sufficient quantities of pantry products in accordance to production plan or forecast needs such as salads, appetizers, sandwich filling and other cold dishes.
  • Wraps, dates, and rotates food items.
  • Utilizes whole food products eliminating any waste.
  • Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
  • Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
  • Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production.
  • Ensures proper storage of food items.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Minimum qualifications for the Pantry Cook:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and speak English maybe required in order to perform the duties of the job.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Applicable Sanitation Training
