Job summary

Plascore, Inc. is seeking a Laminator for our Panels division on the 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 10:30PM–6:30AM). You will laminate using hot and cold presses, prep materials, route parts, and assemble components for lamination.

Starting pay is $21.58 per hour with a $1,200 sign-on bonus for this role and additional quarterly bonuses. Benefits include health, 401(k) with match, paid time off, tuition support, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build panels using skins, core, frames, rails and other components.
• Load and unload panels from press.
• Inspect and prepare press platens for next operation.
• Prepare skins & core according to process specifications, PQR, Travelers, and BOM.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schedules.
• Read work orders, apply materials, and follow instructions per the electronic data system.
• Calculate pressure for operation for a given press.
• Perform testing on adhesive per process specifications.
• Inspect finished product for appearance, alignment and bonding.
• Complete necessary paperwork, maintain detailed notes and logs.
• Fill out defect/NCMR data in the electronic data system.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Provide the customer with value including Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
• Participate in improving products, processes, equipment, and methods.
• Handle internal and external questions promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and continually improve 5S.
• Look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
