Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Line Wirer to join our manufacturing team in Jefferson City, MO, producing high-quality chillers for data centers. You will assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels per schematics and engineering specs, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Roles include reading wiring diagrams, performing point-to-point wiring, and conducting tests to ensure proper operation. 2nd and 3rd shifts available, with mandatory overtime on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied positions for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLCs.
• Route and secure wiring neatly to ensure proper function and safety compliance.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols.
