Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is hiring a Wiring Tech to join our team building high‑quality chillers for data centers. You will assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to schematics and engineering specifications.

The role requires 1+ year of panel wiring experience, the ability to read schematics, use hand and power tools, and lift up to 50 pounds. Shift is Mon–Thu 3:00 PM–1:30 AM with mandatory OT on Fri and Sat, pay $18.87–$22.22 plus a $0.36 differential after 3 PM.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly.
• Knowledge of pressure testing, leak detection, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation (circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, PLCs).
• Route and secure wiring neatly, ensuring safety compliance.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
