Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in the United States is seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to join our team building high‑quality electrical control panels for data centers. You will assemble, wire, and test panels according to schematics and engineering specs, with attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: Mon-Thur 3:00PM-1:30AM with mandatory overtime on Friday and Saturday. Pay range: $18.87-$22.22 per hour with a $0.36 differential after 3:00PM.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related field.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assemble control panels.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLC's.
• Route and secure wiring neatly to ensure proper function and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and assembly teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols and company standards.
