Job summary

USEMCO Inc. seeks a Panel Tester to perform electrical testing of control panels in a first shift role in Tomah, WI. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, with overtime available.

The position runs 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and offers indoor working conditions. Responsibilities include reading schematics, verifying wiring, connecting power, downloading PLC programs, testing panel functions, and documenting test results.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, safety procedures, and schematics.
• Strong math skills for electrical testing and repair work.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions and solve simple problems.
• Understand electrical principles and read schematics/blueprints.
• Operate tools and electrical meters safely.

Responsibilities

• Read schematic drawings and verify correct components in panels.
• Check wiring and secure electrical connections.
• Connect service to supply proper voltage for testing.
• Download PLC programs and set VFD parameters.
• Perform operational tests and verify panel functions.
